there is no possiblity to crossfire those two cards. only using dummy vga adapter.

it seems that for some 5870 and 6970 can work togheter with this sollution, but not on 5970 and 6990. at least i did not figure it out how. yet.

I've read somewhere, can't remember where... Try synchronize their clock speeds...not sure if it's going to help but you can try Smile

Thanks for correcting me Smile

Could anyone confirm which cards work with this version?

I've read "all Stream enabled cards", and on the AMD SDK 2.4 page (http://developer.amd.com/gpu/AMDAPPSDK/P...ault.aspx) it doesn't mention 6990 for example.
So is this working also with 6990 and 6970?

hi atom, do you know any way to make 6990 and 5970 to work toghether for calculation?
I know that they cannot be crossfired, but i've also know that some people are able to use 5870 and 6970 in the same configuration. or both ati and nvidia cards.

10x.

you can run 2 instances of oclHashcat-lite targeting one device per instance. you need a) use the -d parameter to specificy the gpu, b) use the --session parameter and c) split the work as you were in a distributed environment, see here: http://hashcat.net/forum/thread-366-post...ml#pid1728
