without chmod +x
running oclHashCat64.bin without chmod +x returns errors:
user@desktop:~/oclHashcat-0.18$ sh ./oclHashcat64.bin -h ./oclHashcat64.bin: 1: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") user@desktop:~/oclHashcat-0.18$ sh ./oclHashcat64.bin --help ./oclHashcat64.bin: 1: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") Using Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit, with nvidia 9800gt. note - running chmod +x on the file allows it to run perfectly.. ubuntu 10.04 64 bit can be added to the working os list. |

RE: without chmod +x
i used file roller v 2.30.0 which is the default archive manager for ubuntu with a rar plugin installed i believe.
Code: user@desktop:~/oclHashcat-0.18$ ls -lthe execution of the app looks right, but that syntax error got me thinking there was something going on with the app. |
