hashcat crashing when trying to crack longer passwords
im running the latest version of hashcat gui, + plus + lite, im trying to a hccap file, here is the configuration on hashcat plus
mask: ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1 (it is a 12 char wpa2 password) charset: 0123456789abcdef it starts, and crashes. working up to 9 chars, from 10 and up it crashes. (32 and 64 bit both crash) help ? |

you know there is a big difference between a controlled abort and a crash. what is it doing?
