here is an unapproved theory. it is possible that catalyst 11.11's opencl.so is based on an early sdk 2.6 version. but with sdk 2.6, the opencl.so does not support windows xp any longer since it has been marked as deprecated by AMD. so try again with cat 11.7 - 11.10.
