Hi, I'm aware that longer mask is needed to gain speed from parallelization and with longer mask my GTX 1070 for veracrypt SHA512 has 500-600 H/s which is about OK, but when I try single character password "?a", the speed is 0.03H/s (about 30 seconds to check one of 95 possible characters) - it is exactly as slow as if I did it by hand. Is it expected or something is wrong? I'd expect it to take 30 seconds overall, checking each character in parallel
It is normal because the hashcat can not accelerate because it is too small number of characters....
