I am considering upgrading my laptop to RTX 4060, I am running brute force on  Hash-Mode 22000 and I wonder if a change in the graphic card will speed up the whole process. The benchmark on my current laptop looks like this:

Code:
* Hash-Mode 22000 (WPA-PBKDF2-PMKID+EAPOL) [Iterations: 4095]

Speed.#1.........:  425.3 kH/s (84.78ms) @ Accel:128 Loops:1024 Thr:32 Vec:1

but the benchmark I found on the forum for 4060 looks very similar:

Code:
* Hash-Mode 22000 (WPA-PBKDF2-PMKID+EAPOL) [Iterations: 4095]

Speed.#1.........:  461.1 kH/s (51.08ms) @ Accel:16 Loops:1024 Thr:256 Vec:1

How it is going to look in practice, is there going to be any increase in performance?
first
laptops are mostly not considered to be upgraded like desktop-pc, most graphic-cards are hard-soldered on the motherboard and cannot be removed

second
laptops cooling capacities are really bad compared to standard dektop pc, cracking pushes the hardware to its limits and good cooling is essential for runnning stable and long terms withour harming the hardware

instead thinking about upgrading your laptop, consider buying a decent desktop pc

HP Omen has decent cooling, and unfortunately I am traveling too much to get a desktop PC
