I find myself in a position of wanting to outsource my next password cracker build. Are there any vendors currently selling systems? I tried contacting EKFluidWorks, but didn't receive a response. I work in cyber security for a large company which prefers to do business only with well established companies. Looking for a system based on RTX 4090, preferably with 4-8 GPUs.
Other than EKFluidWorks, my Google search came up empty.
Thanks!

try googling for "octagraph", but as far as i know these firms are located in europe/germany, not the us.
This is pretty difficult these days as the 4090s are not possible to put into servers unless you have some of the extremely rare 2 slot variant or cards with water coolers. If you are on a time crunch to get this figured out, i may be able to help, but otherwise I would wait a bit until we know more about the next generation of cards. I have a few hardware vendors I'm in contact with right now and more acceptable systems could be coming out later this year if all goes well.

For example, Puget Systems (pretty well known in the rendering/video editing industry) can put together a few different setups that will fit the bill:

That is good advice. There appears to be more vendors selling A.I. hardware given the recent focus in that area.
I stumbled upon a company named Bizon, which is a new name for me. Specifically, looking at the
https://bizon-tech.com/bizon-zx5500.html series, which is water cooled.

Unfortunately, I can't wait for the RTX 50 series of GPUs. Business requirements have me needing this system up & running in the summer/fall 2024 timeframe. I just don't see much hope of new GPUs being released and actually being able to purchase multiple GPUs anytime in 2024.
My current system is a quad GPU system based on GTX 1080 Founders edition, which vents air out the back of the card. That system has been used and abused for many years and is still working, but it is getting long in the tooth at this point.
Your "difficult" comment above is a big reason I'm a bit nervous about building my own password cracker. Are the rear venting GPUs a thing of the past? I'm not experienced with water cooling builds, so I just want to buy this from a vendor experienced making such systems.

Yeah, basically Nvidia doesn't want us using GeForce cards in servers anymore so they have done a lot to make it nearly impossible. There are a very very small distributors that have some solutions to this, but if you want an easy off the shelf solution, you'll typically have to pay 3-5x as much to buy the higher end GPUs. Building yourself is possible but still pretty difficult.
A guy in my local area has several of these machines setup for resale. I am assuming he is the host for several of the vast.ai servers with 4090s (As they are all located in Calgary as well) I am sure he is willing to ship and his prices seem very reasonable for the hardware you are getting. Essentially it is USED equipment but you'd be seeing a huge improvement over your 1080ti's upgrading to 3090's.

What encryption algorithms (ex. MD5 or ...) does your company intend to use?
There might be other feasible solutions available.
