Hi

Im having some problems with oclhashcat-plus. The problem is that some algorithms are not working correctly. For example m2611 and m2711 md5(md5($pass).$salt) and some others. Its working with 1 hash but if there are more hashes on the list it doesn't work anymore.

Test hashes:

Some people told me they also use the 6970 but their card works correctly and others told me they got different problems. Please test now and tell me if it works. Don't forget your driver version. Thanks

Card: 2048MB PowerColor Radeon HD 6970
Driver: 12.6
Windows 7 64bit
oclHashcat-plus, 64 bit v0.081

Edit:
Thanks for you messages so far. Looks like we are stuck at this problem: http://hashcat.net/forum/thread-1275.html

v0.08 and higher are partly bugged for us. v0.07 is working perfectly.

Report here: http://www.amd.com/report
really awful bug. Is there no way to workaround this?
there is no way to workaround

Korsakoff

Working for me with:

oclHashcat-plus-0.081, mode -m 2611 with 1 or 5 hashes

Gigabyte 6970 OC 2GD, Catalyst 12.6, Windows 7 64bit, 16Go RAM
How come there are some bugged cards and others are working perfectly? Its the same card.
Windows 7 64
Catalyst 12.3
Sapphire 6990
Tested mode: 2611.

Not working since 0.08 version.
Tested 0.08/0.081/0.09 with 14 hashes

Working with 0.07 version !

Already did experience with 12.6 and 12.7 Catalyst and do not work as well.
Please test again with 12.8. It looks like it is fixed.

Cool. I will try it later today.

Unfortunately no. At least in my hands, with my HD5750, dictionary attack works but all the other attack mode fails.
mastercracker, you mean simple dictionary with no rules at all ?

I don't want to "waste" time cleaning the actual driver to install
a new version that do not brings nothing new about this specific
problem. Tks.
