I am getting this error on an HD6420. command line being used is:
32-bit version also shows the same error.

This is on Windows 7 64-bit with AMD drivers 12.11 if that helps.

Try using 12.8 or 12.9 beta.

Just curious, where did you find out about hashcat for WPA?

Ah ok. I probably won't end up doing that as that's a laptop GPU and performance might be questionable. I wanted to compare it to this GTS 450 I have which with that command takes 11 days to complete.

I found out about hashcat through twitter. Saw it as a GPU-accelerated hashing program. I figured since WPA2 also uses SHA1 that it would also work.
