I am not yet sure whether to go for an VCL/IB-cluster or for a Tyan B7015F77V4R...

- What amount of RAM does an VCL/IB-cluster like?

- What amount of RAM does an a Tyan B7015F77V4R with 4x7990 like?

it depends on how many GPUs you have in your cluster. i typically allot 2-4GB per gpu.
