hashcat Forum

Is it possible to crack an Office 2013 hash with Hashcat (not oclHashcat).  I found this link that gives good instructions for oclHashcat - http://pentestcorner.com/cracking-micros...h-hashcat/ - but I am running from a laptop with an Intel graphics card so I do not think I can use oclHashcat. 

I have already retrieved that hash from the file I just need to crack it.

Sorry, hashcat-cli does not support Office.

Bummer.  Forgive me if this is common knowledge (I am new to hashcat), is there any particular reason why this version does not support Office?

Too damn slow for CPUs!
Also, gpu cats get more love from devs.
