Full Version: no more dummy plugs on windows?

4xHD5970, running CCC 11.8 with sdk 2.3, no crossfire bridge and no dummy plugs on windows 7 64bit. noticed it does not give gpu name anymore but instead says HW.Monitor, no biggie tho, just glad I don't need to mess with linux to get it working

Yeah, i also noticed this a few weeks ago (with the new catalyst) and confirmed it to atom :-)
damn 11.8 uses 100% cpu. before they do not fix this i wont upgrade from by beloved 11.4 Smile
even though hashcat sees all 8 GPU without dummy plugs, CCC doesn't allow you to modify fan speed since it thinks the cards are disabled. so i went to linux which seems to work a lot better.
yeah linux = 0% CPU load while cracking
Never use dummy plugs or monitors for years!
