I noticed that the R9 390x is not in the list for compatible devices from the list in the sticky at the top of the forum (holy run on sentence Batman!). Is this card supported? The only thing I've been able to crack is a single MD5 hash that I knew the passphrase of, the rest of my generated hashes will NOT crack.

I'm wondering if it's just not supported. If not, will it ever be? Or should I just get something else?
should be supported (even if not yet listed on the amd openCL compatible-GPU page)

Also see https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=fre...o_crack_it

and try to crack the examples here https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=example_hashes (and double check with your "generation script", note: password is always "hashcat" except where otherwise stated)

There are also some example hashes within the distribution package (the .7z you downloaded) and therefore in the oclHashcat root folder: example0.hash etc

Thanks a ton, I'll get practicing on this, and report back. I was really wondering why nothing would crack, and I had to use the --force switch to get it to do anything.
I keep getting this error -

oclHashcat v1.36 starting...

WARNING: Hashfile 'F:\Hashcat\hash3.txt' in line 1 (098f6bcd4621d373cade4e832627
b4f6.J↕☺): Line-length exception

Parsed Hashes: 1/1 (100.00%)

ERROR: No hashes loaded

It keeps adding .J↕☺ to the end of all my hashes - whats this?
I got a R9 390X my issue is appears since I have the Catalyst 15.7 oclHashcat doesn't wanna work LOL tried installing the 14.9 doesn't appear to wanna work with the R9 390X I get no picture display on my screen when I start up the machine.
