hashcat Forum

I have an old backup vault cd from an program called ghostsurf. It has encrypted files on it and .idx files. The program gives you the option to restore vault from cd. Only problem is it's password protected and I have forgotten password, it's been years. Can hashcat help me recover password and if so how do I set it  up to target cd. I am very noob  to this any guidance would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

unless you or anyone else knows exactly how the encryption works it will never be supported.
