phpass is a slow algorithm, and you're using an nvidia gpu. so yes, it will probably take a long time to brute force.
better to do wordlist and rule based attacks.

Both methods can succeed ? For the same password crypted ?
And which wordlist / rule is adviced for a french password of at least 6 caracters ?
Edit : Also, the board phpbb3 is mine, so maybe I can find a "key" or something that can help to hack the password somewhere in my database?
