RE: GTX 1080 FE overclock - elidell - 05-13-2017 Ok i just tried those first commands, and im still getting the following status when running hashcat: Code: [s]tatus [p]ause [r]esume [b]ypass [c]heckpoint [q]uit => s Whats weird is when i restarted I had to switch to my onboard display in bios as the two GTX's kept going black right after the ubuntu purple screen. But thats ok because it some how fixed the flickering i was getting when using the onboard graphics card for my display. But im still getting slower results than i would have thought.. Temps seem to be running slightly cooler on both GTXs though.. :/ RE: GTX 1080 FE overclock - PingTrip - 10-13-2017 (05-12-2017, 04:24 AM)epixoip Wrote: Start here: epixoip, sorry to resurrect an old thread but do you recall under what driver version you had success with the GPU honoring the manually set power limit? In my recent testing I set a 1080's PL at 200W, ran a hashcat session to put it under load and monitored dmon for power usage. Code: Enforced Power Limit : 200.00 W However, it appears that throttling still activates when the card hits the default 180W mark: Code: SW Power Cap : Active |
