Finally it's up and running.
All this has turned out to be is that you cant use github to wget the files from.
Tried using http://transfer.sh/ and it works perfectly.

Nice to hear that.
In 99 percent an issue is not related to hashcat. For the remaining last percent, we can expect a fix from Atom in the foreseeable future.

Thanks. I didn't expect it to be an issue from Hashcat where I had it running fine in Windows, but I just couldn't get my head round what was going wrong.
Now know that github isn't a suitable tool for transferring files to an instance with.

Is there any new way to transfer the hc22000 file, github still seems to have a problem because hashca cannot find the hash. When I use transfer.sh I get the error "Could not save metadata"
