Finally it's up and running.

All this has turned out to be is that you cant use github to wget the files from.

Tried usingĀ http://transfer.sh/ and it works perfectly.

Thank you all for your help. I am finally where I want to be.

Nice to hear that.
In 99 percent an issue is not related to hashcat. For the remaining last percent, we can expect a fix from Atom in the foreseeable future.

Thanks. I didn't expect it to be an issue from Hashcat where I had it running fine in Windows, but I just couldn't get my head round what was going wrong.

Now know that github isn't a suitable tool for transferring files to an instance with.
