Credits to the Hashcat crew - mabu - 04-01-2012 I would just like to say that I'm very impressed with what the Hashcat crew is doing here, both with developing the tools and for creating a nice community (using this forum for example) that really pushes the issues of password cracking forward. What I think is REALLY cool is that it is the Hashcat project that is pushing the art of GPU cracking, given that there are a lot of commercial services out there that really would have more resources to do so. I've been in the professional security testing field for the last 6 years, doing a lot of password cracking and auditing, and I just want to put on record how much I appreciate open projects like these, and how important they are. So, fantastic job, by the likes of atom and the rest of the Hashcat crew, and looking forward to future releases! RE: Credits to the Hashcat crew - atom - 04-01-2012 Many thanks for this from the whole hashcat crew!! |
