RE: oclHashcat-plus not working in backtrack r2 - dodg3r - 04-10-2012

You're using a wrong program variant my friend.

cudaHashcat64.bin is designed for NVidia chips chips only, as CUDA is the technology supported by this manufacturer.

The correct one for ATI is oclHashcat-plus32.bin for the 32bit backctrack and oclHashcat-plus64.bin for 64bit version.

did you try not to install the sdk but only the driver? If you install the sdk it will never work.

RE: oclHashcat-plus not working in backtrack r2 - dodg3r - 04-10-2012

It's strange. You're using Backtrack 5 R2, right? So do i and in my system it came preinstalled. You should look for it in /pentest/passwords/oclhashcat+ folder.

You should also consider doing the following:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install
responding Yes to questions.

Let me know if it worked for you.

RE: oclHashcat-plus not working in backtrack r2 - ntk - 04-11-2012

to nokia2mon2

the version v0.071 is a hotfix for v0.070, hence you have only 4 files, I guess. U should download the conventional v0.070, unpack, then replace the 4 files with those of v0.071. U will have then your plus64 tools
