Hashcat useable on a Laptop - How to Reduce GPU Workload - Saline2161 - 05-23-2022 Hi, I am using my laptop with a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti for -m 22000 (WPA). However, the process only runs at max 2-3 minutes before cancelling due to hitting 90 degrees (threshhold). What have I tried:  - Got a laptop-stand to elevate laptop | get better air flow  - Got MSI AfterBurner, Tried to undervoltage my GPU as well as in general reduce the speed (Screenshot; Reduce Core Clock MHz -340)  - Read this thread: https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-9241.html?highlight=overheat and thought about writing a python script for it, however with run times of basically just a minute before it gets to hot, this does not seem practical. Is there a way to change this? So that my GPU does not overheat. Is it e.g. possible to run hashcat only with 80% workload on the GPU? This would still be (by far) faster than running it on my CPUs. You can add the option --hwmon-disable then the temperature will not be monitored but this is not the best solution.
