Hi,

Is there an OS more recommended than an other for performance ? Win/Linux ?

Debian or Ubuntu are good places to start

pros and cons for both.

i like linux more but if you are going to overclock gpu then windows is easier to do that with, especially with voltage overclocking

Thanks.
No overclocking.
I like linux too but will I get more performance if I only use the shell (no x-server like kde/gnome) under linux ?

you have to run a x-server, at least for amd cards. btw, kde/gnome are no "x-servers" but window managers... you don't need a window manager at all.
