Watchdog disabled and impossible to start - dolph - 06-04-2012
Hello,
I've tried to turn on Watchdog but have been unable to do so. I don't want to continue testing bc of fear of frying my card. This is the snapshot. Any ideas?

The watchdog is enabled by default unless you disabled it. Another problem might be that the ADL library (which handles the temperature and fan stuff) which ships with the catalyst driver is not installed correctly on your system.

Thanks, do you think re-installing catalyst will fix the issue? Or is it possible to just review and modify one of the driver's files?

Considering the time it takes to re-install or upgrade your drivers and catalyst, I would just try that anyway.
