Unknown Hash - Mudla - 01-16-2025 Hi all, we have a password-hash (hope so) that i cannot identify: $0B9XX9BXX6EXXFEXX6CXXF2XXD6XX1BXX95XX60XX4AXX05XX77XX48XX29XX0EXX2DXX3CXXE5XX55X It is saved in the Windows Registry and is from a german phone(UC) software. Its quiet an old release and we can't export config without the password (we need to move it to a new server). Thanks for advice Mudla RE: Unknown Hash - DanielG - 01-16-2025 80 hexadecimal characters (320 bits) is not that common, only one I know is RipeMD-320. But it is very unlikely to be used in old software. You will need to perform more research, for example look if every length password creates the same length output. That way you can see wether it is a hash or not. |
