Gaming/Hash rig - Grimmbeaver - 08-21-2025
Hello,
It's been years since I built a gaming rig. I had to order my last rig pre-built from DELL/Alienware during the Pandemic due to parts shortages.
My new build will incorporate my RTX 3080 from my old R12 Alienware to be used as a 2nd GPU for tasks like hashing and rendering. I've included an RTX 5090 in the new build as a primary GPU (I understand that SLI is dead, the 2nd GPU is for Hashing/mining). I'm looking for a super quiet build with maximum air flow cooling. Also, I'd like an LED-free build as I find it distracting. Please review and provide feedback on parts and brands to consider/avoid. I could use expert advice!
Do I go with the MSI X870E Carbon or ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator Wi-Fi ?
Also...please feel free to help save some money lol
