Change GPU workload - 23732 - 09-09-2012
Would it be possible to change the workload while oclHashcat is running?
F. ex. if you have your computer running 24/7 doing MD5 decryption, but you want to be able to use it normally without lag during the day, and use the GPU's full potential during the night.

What about a timer that set it to full GPU acceleration in f. ex 8 hours?

Sometimes when you are in the middle of a run and find your GPUs are overheating too much or if you want to temporarily lower your fan noises without stopping everything, adjusting the -n during a run would be useful. If I remember well, one or a couple of older versions would do that when pressing the + and - keys.
