How to compare speeds between CPU and GPU hashcats - Kgx Pnqvhm - 09-30-2012
Since I'm using the hashcats infrequently, while also working with file decrypter programs, using similar rules and dictionaries, they've usually been updated in the meanwhile.
I'm still working on ways to divide the work between the CPU and GPU hashcats due to the 15 character limit in the GPU version.
But the other issue is that some rules work faster in one vs. the other, but the status screens are very different.
Can someone write a guide for the wiki to show how to compare them, so we can see whether the CPU or GPU version is the faster?
