can hashcat crack md5($s.'-'.md5($p)) ? - sporet - 11-07-2012

Is it possible to crack md5($s.'-'.md5($p)) with oclhashcat-lite/plus?
If so, wich hash type is it?
Thanks.

no, lite/plus do not have any mode that would work with that algorithm. but, cpu hashcat can crack them using mode 7 if you manually append a dash to each salt.

Clever, that will work.

I think epixoip meant mode 3710 instead of "7".

it looks like it is 3710 now. it used to be mode 7, http://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=supported_psa
