Line length exception in -m 500 (9 chars salt) - aminsaghi - 10-18-2013 Hi. I've received the following from a /etc/shadow file and I know that it's valid: root:<removed> as the salt section has 9 chars length, I can't use hashcat with -m 500 option on it (I get "line length exception"). What can I do? RE: Line length exception in -m 500 (9 chars salt) - Rolf - 10-18-2013 Read the rules of these forums and try again a week later. |
