Manual upgrade v0.44 - v0.46 - scubahalo - 11-14-2013
I've searched this site and elsewhere but can't find how to do this. I'm thinking that's because it's painfully obvious. I was, however, able to download the file and extract it to my desktop without too much trouble - LOL! Any help is greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm running The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) amd64 1.0.5.

we dont maintain the The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) packages. you would need to talk to The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) devs to get it upgraded. you can however do it like you did and run it from that dir, thats how most people would run hashcat anyway.
