gui-hashcat-plus with 7970 problems - qweasd - 11-23-2013 Hi guys I recently bought a brand new sapphire hd 7970 oc. I expected to have major Performance with Hashcat. I am posting you the image of what I am doing. please tell me if I am doing something wrong Because I am seeing that every one with this card, have result that measured by "M/s" and I am seeing just "H/s" in the cmd more loops or Acceleration making the screen to freeze i removed every driver with Driver Fussion and installed just Catalyst 13.1 second problem is, if I am overclocking the card, even with the lowest conf in hashcat the screen start freezing or even worse the screen shows many lines etc... Here is my screen capture RE: gui-hashcat-plus with 7970 problems - epixoip - 11-24-2013 first, the gui you are using is deprecated. learn the command line, or use the third-party gui from md5decrypter.co.uk second, you are cracking salted hashes. therefore the effective speed will be slower than the raw speed because each plaintext candidate has to be hashed with each unique salt. since you have 29 unique salts, your raw speed is 22859 * 29 = 662.9 KH/s |
