ubuntu server instruction problems - nivlek - 01-15-2014

I installed ubuntu server 12.04 as per the instructions found here:
http://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=linux_server_howto

When I try to run hashcat i get the following error

root@hash:~/oclHashcat-1.01# ./oclHashcat64.bin -m 0 -b --benchmark-mode 1

ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

RE: ubuntu server instruction problems - epixoip - 01-15-2014

yep, see how cilnfo is only showing your cpu and not your gpu? driver is not properly installed. go back through the guide, slowly this time.

Thank you! I did and its working flawlessly. Turns out I didn't give other accounts permissions like the instructions said so. Thanks again!
