hashcat v0.47 --debug-mode=3 Insufficient memory - Kgx Pnqvhm - 03-02-2014 The Trac just rejected what I typed as spam, so I'll post it here. Running an old batch file for hashcat v0.47 -g 500 against a directory of 31 word list files got to the 5th file and crashed putting this error message across the screen: Insufficient memory availableInsufficient memory availableInsufficient memory available We've discussed this before, and I've removed the debug options from my hashcat batch files, but must've missed that one. (Win 7 64-bit, 16 GB RAM.) RE: hashcat v0.47 --debug-mode=3 Insufficient memory - philsmd - 03-03-2014 We/I almost didn't see this bug report since it wasn't on trac (please report to atom if opening trac tickets is still not working - he also changed something in the meantime w/ trac so could be working again now - ... also are you sure you solved the captcha correctly etc... the new captcha "feature" avoids real spammers...) ... but now I investigated this problem and found a way to reduce memory significantly when more than one dict is used. This problem should be solved w/ b9 of hashcat 0.48. Thx |
