why cannt the application work?

we have tested the HD5970 a lot. there are no known problems. do you have tried running other opencl applications (just to make sure your driver installations and the card are working)?

the problem has been resolved...
but there's another question: i have two cards , but only one is working at the same time.
can the application using serval cards one time?

please try it exactly this way:
oclHashcat.exe example.hash -n 80 --gpu-loops 1024 -m 0 -1 ?l?d ?1?1?1?1 ?1?1?1?1

update: hd5970 (also multiple hd5970) work now on linux, but not on windows. we still have to wait for newer SDK.
