there's no such thing as 8000 iterations of bcrypt, as 8000 is not a power of two. you can have 8192 iterations though, by using a cost of 13.
but since you said $2a$08$ in the title you must be talking about 256 iterations. and yes, it is supported, though you're better off using cpu than gpu.
