Problem running Hashcat - k3yw0rm - 12-30-2014

Hello there, I'm new here. So I wanted to try GPU cracking and I'm having problem running oclHashCat.

My Graphic Card is:
AMD Radeon R7 240 2gb 128bit

I have Catalyst 14.12 installed.

But i still get this error:
Code:
STOP! Unsupported or incorrect installed GPU driver detected!

You are STRONGLY encouraged to use the official supported GPU driver for good re
asons

See oclHashcat's homepage for official supported GPU drivers

Also see: http://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=upgrading_amd_drivers_how_to

You can use --force to override this but do not post error reports if you do so

RE: Problem running Hashcat - hannhimhe - 12-30-2014

Long story...
Use Catalyst 14.9

RE: Problem running Hashcat - k3yw0rm - 12-30-2014

So i have just to uninstall it and install 14.09 or?

RE: Problem running Hashcat - hannhimhe - 12-30-2014

Correct.
Note that I edited my first answer. It's Catalyst 14.9, not 14.09.

RE: Problem running Hashcat - k3yw0rm - 12-30-2014

Problem is that i can't find it :/ There is only 14.12 for download :S

Edit: Ohh found it sorry! Smile Downloading now will let you know in a bit whats going on, do i have to remove current driver or it will automatically once i start installation?

RE: Problem running Hashcat - epixoip - 12-30-2014

If you're using Windows, you'll need to use the free version of Driver Fusion to completely remove the old driver before installing 14.9

RE: Problem running Hashcat - k3yw0rm - 12-30-2014

okay i've done it and works Smile Is it possible somehow to i make it crack from few dictionaries or i can run only one by one?

RE: Problem running Hashcat - epixoip - 12-30-2014

you can specify multiple wordlists or a directory containing wordlists. try reading the --help output & the wiki.
