oclHashcat arent recovering hash - Zakz - 01-09-2015 Hi. I tried to use hashcat but arent recovering any hash, used a simple MD5 to test: 2e9e46ee0434d56576d2907b6a9cc7d6 and I didnt get any result, should be: zakz1 In CPU hashcat worked fine, recovered the MD5. Results: GPU Code: Session.Name...: oclHashcat CPU Code: Input.Mode: Mask (?1?1?1?1) [4] GPU: AMD Radeon R7 260x Catalyst: 14.12 oclHashcat: 1.31 Command in GPU: oclHashcat64.exe --force -m 0 -a 3 -1 ?l?d --increment hash.txt ?1?1?1?1?1 Command in CPU: hashcat-cli64.exe -m 0 -a 3 -1 ?l?d --pw-min 2 --pw-max 5 hash.txt ?1?1?1?1?1 Windows: 8.1 Pro Thanks! RE: oclHashcat arent recovering hash - epixoip - 01-09-2015 You should have searched the forums before posting, as this has been covered several times. Catalyst 14.12 is broken and does not work. You need exactly Catalyst 14.9. Further, oclHashcat tells you not to post reports or seek help if you are using the --force switch. And this is why. When oclHashcat tells you you're using the wrong driver, you should listen. RE: oclHashcat arent recovering hash - coolbry95 - 01-09-2015 atom just recently said that the 14.12 driver does not work properly. It does not crack hashes like you show. You should downgrade your driver to 14.9. epixoip beat me to it. RE: oclHashcat arent recovering hash - Zakz - 01-09-2015 Ok. Thank you for fast replies. I guessed that could be a bug because when downloaded oclHashcat in page said 14.9 or later. Sorry for my idiot question. RE: oclHashcat arent recovering hash - epixoip - 01-09-2015 The webpage was updated earlier to say: Quote:AMD users require Catalyst 14.9 exactly |
