Hi!
It clearly mentions on the oclhashcat that we need exactly 2 dictionary files for the combinator (combination) attack:

However, I have not seen anything specifying that only 1 dic is needed or required for that attack under hashcat:

I would suggest including a note for the Wiki of hashcat, or under the attack mode options saying "please specify only one dictionary file"

If you only specify one dictionary file, it's *not* a combinator attack. That's just a dictionary attack. Your point is incorrect.

No, his point is valid. In hashcat-cli, combinator attack uses only one dictionary (and combines it with itself.)
