Parameter to slow down the hashcat a bit (overheating probem) - Alphadan - 04-04-2015 Well my problem is that -w 2 goes too hard and -w 1 goes too soft -w 2 produces 77 kh/s on my R9 270 but -w 1 produces just 28 kh, my question is what parameter could i use to tune it down arround 60 kh/s would work just fine. I tried using retain temperature using --gpu-temp-retain=60 but it just doesnt work i cant see any throtle it just goes to 80 untill it aborts by overheating. what other parameters would i use to reach this goal? Thx in advance. RE: Parameter to slow down the hashcat a bit (overheating probem) - Xanadrel - 04-04-2015 You can play with -u and -n until you achieve a good speed/temperature ratio. Maybe your cooling solution is also not optimal. |
