ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 - 0ddw4nd - 05-08-2015
Hi,
I have 1 AMD RADEON 7990 HD
Code: 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Malta [Radeon HD 7990]
I keep getting this error
Code: $ ./oclHashcat64.bin -m 2500 <output>.hccap <dict>.txt
oclHashcat v1.36 starting...
Generating bitmap tables with 16 bits...
ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1
$ echo $DISPLAY
0
I followed this guide exactly: http://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=linux_server_howto and have set up my Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS server accordingly.
I've also tried troubleshooting what's mentioned here http://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=troubleshooting_clgetdeviceids_-1 including reconfiguring lightdm.conf with the example config.

This is incorrect, it should be :0 not 0

that should be:
what does amdconfig --lsa give you?
RE: ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 - 0ddw4nd - 05-08-2015
It's weird because at the bottom of
~/.bashrc
Though I've set:
and now
Here's amdconfig --lsa:
Code: amdconfig --lsa
* 0. 03:00.0 AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
1. 04:00.0 AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
* - Default adapter
RE: ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 - 0ddw4nd - 05-08-2015
It's working now.. Thanks!
