oclHashcat speed - atlas28 - 05-23-2015 If I brute by mask, for example Code: oclHashcat64.exe -m2500 -a3 bla bla bla ?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?d But when I brute by dictionary, the speed is only about 65000 H/s. Why? Can it be because of bitlocker turned on? RE: oclHashcat speed - atom - 05-23-2015 Check out this: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=frequently_asked_questions#why_is_my_attack_so_slow RE: oclHashcat speed - atlas28 - 05-23-2015 (05-23-2015, 07:31 PM)atom Wrote: Check out this: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=frequently_asked_questions#why_is_my_attack_so_slow I've read this. The benchmark shows the same speed as the brute by mask. But brute by dictionary is slower... I can't understand why... RE: oclHashcat speed - atom - 05-23-2015 did you use -w 3? RE: oclHashcat speed - atlas28 - 05-23-2015 Yes, with -w 3 the speed is higher (79000 H/s, without -w 3 65000H/s), but not 85000-86000 when I use -a3 (mask). RE: oclHashcat speed - atom - 05-23-2015 sounds good for me |
