Upgrading system (linux) - dTest - 08-18-2015 With the new oclHashcat 1.37, it says it requires catalyst driver 14.9 or higher. I'm on 14.3 it seems. I'm also on the 'preferred' Ubuntu server 12.04.5 LTS I really only use this system for oclHashcat, so keeping it as-is is not a prob. But I'd like to bring all I can up to date, that of course will not break Hashcat. So is going to Ubuntu 14.x LTS and latest greatest Catalyst drivers OK? (would just doing a fresh wipe/install be a better approach then upgrading?) Thanks guys. RE: Upgrading system (linux) - atom - 08-18-2015 Using latest catalyst release version 15.7 is perfectly fine, I use it myself RE: Upgrading system (linux) - dTest - 08-18-2015 thanks |
