hashcat v3.00 - Is this the reasonable speed on Mac? - ukyang - 06-30-2016 Just compiled hashcat v3.00-7-gedb5028 on osx 10.11.5. Here is the result I got from benchmark: Quote:ukyang@MBP [:][/Forfun/hashcat] ./hashcat.app -d 2 -b 6431 GH/s, this speed is amazing. But it seems too good to be true. Can anyone tell me if this benchmark is valid or not? Thank you. RE: hashcat v3.00 - Is this the reasonable speed on Mac? - rico - 07-01-2016 6.43 TERA hashes per second. Too good to be true indeed... Here's my 760 for comparison (slower in v3 than v2.0.1): cudaHashcat v2.01 starting in benchmark-mode... We have no influence on this, you need to report to NVidia. Until they release an updated version you can use -D 1 to use your CPU.
