And another question:
Does Hashcat need a UTF-8 encoding without BOM for a dictionary?
I have made the following experiment:
Password: Übrigens
I have made 2 dictionaries with this word:
1) UTF-8 with BOM
2) UTF-8 without BOM.
Hashcat has found the word (Dictionary-Attack) only about the dictionary without BOM. But not about the dictionary with BOM.
Can anyone confirm this?

Sure, it takes the BOM as part of the first word in the wordlist
