Default Graphics card - elidell - 05-11-2017 Im running Ubuntu 16.0.4.5 and have one GTX 1080 FE card installed. I noticed that once I installed this card, I can no longer use the onboard graphics card as my display. Instead I have to plug my monitor into the GTX 1080. Will this effect the computing power of that gnu when running hashcat? Anyone have tips for setting up the onboard graphics card to be my default display? What will happen once I get 2 or 3 more GTX's running? RE: Default Graphics card - royce - 05-11-2017 There is often a setting in the BIOS to select which GPU to use as the primary. It shouldn't have an effect on hashcat - it should happily use them both as long as they're both supported and the drivers and OpenCL work. |
