You need a GPU from this decade.

I read another users that use the same video card like mine. They have a speed of 7869 c/s.
So may be is old but for me that speed is acceptable. The problem of This devices local mem size is too small could be with the last version of hashcat?

The problem is your card, which is from 2006, and not hashcat. As dioxide said, you need a GPU from this decade. The 8800 has 128 MB of usable VRAM.

The XFX 8800 GT have 512 MB not 128 MB so I think is not a real mem size problem. And like I said before, some users said in this forum that used hashcat with this card (may be old versions of hashcat).
Anyway I replace the XFX 8800 GT with another old card, the GIGABYTE GV-N550OC-1GI (Gforce 550 ti) and works great using hashcat. Now, using it, I can undersand what Im lerning in this forum. Next step is buy a new card.. may be a gtx 1050 (I think is the best balance of cost and benefits).
Thanks all for your answers!

If you’re serious about using hashcat, the GTX 1050 is a horrible choice. I wouldn’t get anything < GTX 1070 IMHO, but better yet, I’d wait to see what Volta brings.
