Titan V benchmarks - devilsadvocate - 01-09-2018 Will anyone be remortgaging their home or taking out a small loan in order to buy this? http://www.game-debate.com/news/24188/nvidia-unleashes-2999-titan-v-fastest-gpu-in-the-world-with-110-tflops-tensor-performance I look forward to someone posting the benchmarks. RE: Titan V benchmarks - Flomac - 01-09-2018 That's already been done. Amazon has some V100 installed in their AWS. Here's what they are capable of: https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-5927.html https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Xy0kkwB6Jkqo7CEprS-GtcUp3dZFWzV_FvZqWNHWmBM/edit#gid=253188772 RE: Titan V benchmarks - Chick3nman - 01-09-2018 I posted some on twitter a little while ago. Didn't get through a full benchmark, the drivers weren't happy. https://twitter.com/Chick3nman512/status/941817960410243072/photo/1 RE: Titan V benchmarks - kjs - 01-17-2018 GPU: 1 x NVIDIA Titan-V (ref: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/titan/titan-v/) OS: Windows 10 64-bit Hashcat Version: 4.0.1 NVIDIA Driver Version: 390.65 Memory Clock: Default Core Clock: Default Power Limit: Default PS D:\hashcat> .\hashcat64.exe --benchmark --opencl-devices 1 | Tee-Object -file .\hashcat-benchmark-titanv.log hashcat (v4.0.1) starting in benchmark mode... Chick3nman - 01-17-2018 Interestingly, your benchmark is coming in a good bit under the one I did. I wonder if there's something weird between driver versions there. Were you getting any sort of hiccups? Such as the kernels ending early due to the kernel execution time out? It threw the warning for not having the timeout patch. It threw the warning for not having the timeout patch. I'll re-run it on Ubuntu when I have a chance to test. Were your benchmarks with stock core and memory clocks? RE: Titan V benchmarks - Chick3nman - 01-17-2018 Yeah, everything was stock. You should be within 5% of the SMX2 V100, which does ~52GH/s MD5. Titan-V did 50GH/s for me stock. You are doing 45GH/s, which is a serious difference. I suspect its a driver thing since we've seen that size of change before between different driver versions. I dont have access to the Titan-V system I used for those benchmarks anymore, but as soon as I get a hold of another one, I can run some more tests to see what's up. That mode is essentially unusable on GPUs. We really need to add a warning for that. |
