solved -- invalid argument hashcat 4.1.0 --gpu-temp-retain= - tibit - 02-24-2018

Hi,

The argument "--gpu-temp-retain" isn't accepted on the new hashcat 4.1.0.
(note : "--gpu-temp-abort" gives no problem.

In the error message there seemes to be a space before 'gpu' which isn't in my original command.
erro : "invalid argument : -- gpu-temp-retain"

thanks

tibit

Specifically:
  • Removed option --gpu-temp-retain that tried to retain GPU temperature at X degrees celsius - please use driver-specific tools
Removed option --powertune-enable to enable power tuning - please use driver specific tools
