2-3 e-gpu: interesting. Could you share your xorg configuration file? Should a monitor be associated with NVIDIA e-gpus? Can NVIDIA e-gpus work at the same time as the dedicated video card or should the latter be excluded? Could you share the benchmarck of your e-gpus?
[/quote]This was a couple of years back on MP 6,1 (the trash can). They did some light work for a few months then I retired them to Plex server duty.

eGPU is useful for low hanging fruit, like Arch Stanton wrote. I would also like tips on connecting / daisy-chaining 2-3 eGPUs to one PC - if that's what you did.

I just reinstalled my portable cracking rig (GTX 1080 eGPU with The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) and the 450.66 drivers). I'm getting decent numbers, for what it is..
