Hashcat Brain Files (*.admp, *.ldmp) - FrostByte - 03-25-2019 Should these all be in hashcat's working directory? Or can I move them all to another folder and define the working directory in an argument like --brain-working-directory ~/brain_files RE: Hashcat Brain Files (*.admp, *.ldmp) - FrostByte - 03-27-2019 No one knows if these files need to be in the same directory where hashcat is ran from? RE: Hashcat Brain Files (*.admp, *.ldmp) - philsmd - 03-27-2019 It is currently hard-coded (see https://github.com/hashcat/hashcat/blob/7806be32c25c387cc11f02a400684c0d0d465632/src/brain.c#L1982-L1983), but it's not impossible to add command line options etc for it. I would suggest that you should request it here and see if it's accepted as a valid/meaningful improvement (also see https://hashcat.net/faq#i_want_to_request_some_new_algorithms_or_features_how_can_i_accomplish_this ) RE: Hashcat Brain Files (*.admp, *.ldmp) - FrostByte - 03-27-2019 (03-27-2019, 01:57 PM)philsmd Wrote: It is currently hard-coded (see https://github.com/hashcat/hashcat/blob/7806be32c25c387cc11f02a400684c0d0d465632/src/brain.c#L1982-L1983), but it's not impossible to add command line options etc for it. Will do, thanks! |
